Congrats to your first screen video post, looks great - and the info is essential...an own domain is a must - for all reasons you give and also so people can't take out your user name when they buy something...
Strange side of human psychology, that many don't like the idea of others benefitting from their actions - where that's all it is about!
Statisctics say about you loose about 30% of your commissions if you don't cloak your urls - and having your own MASKED domain is one way to do that...
