Decisions, Decisions...

Initially, I'd wanted to make an immediate demo and posting of what I'd been doing on generating creative and killer headlines to rake out the best amount of clicks.

Confessions of An Internet Marketer...

I have to admit... I've been pretty hooked on listening to some music while I'm doing some of my marketing and as well some postings in some forums.

Feels refreshing if you ask me.

What really caught my attention was this special site which has a Ipod-lookalike which can also play you really great mp3's to listen in. Additionally, a preview of what you'll see when you log on is this image. The black is nice but the white is interesting too.

1. Register with your email and preferred password for free (yes, it's free folks)

2. Click on the tab of "new playlist", name your playlist or collection - click either public or private.

3. In the bottom panel of the virtual player, just key in your favourite artist's or song titles or what ever you fancy to listen to online. A result box will appear on your right out of the player itself.

4. Add those songs you'd wanna hear by clicking on save and select your newly made 'playlist' name. They'll be added automatically. Repeat will you're satisfied.. "burppp"

5. Hit 'playlist' in the middle of the player and select the songs - they'll start playing in order.

Today , I received a phone call from my mom. During the phone conversation she was mentioning about how bad the financial situation has become. Now, remember that I'm going to start a new family of my own soon and right now not in my home country which is Malaysia.

My dad has been a God fearing , good husband and father all these years of my life and has disciplined me and taught me well about life's lessons. But if there is one weakness that he had it was financial management.

Yes, but we all need to learn how to think delayed gratification. If you can't resist the temptation offline of the worlds many wonders and thrills, then you will equally fall prey to online temptations well. Heck, anything and all thats marketed to you will entice you to the result of swiping your nice little credit card!

Some Steps that you should do today is :

1. Check that you have at least 6 months to a years worth of savings for daily expenses

2. Place a budget or allocation for each section of your life from the balance after expenses is deducted.

Say for example,

Your Current Income or savings alloted for this month is $2500

Balance after Expenses/Necessities = $1000 (that's already 40%)

Then, take your balance if $1500 for other items :

Business = 30% $450
Investments = 30% $450
Entertainment = 10% $100
Emergencies = 15% $225
Back In Savings = 15% $225

The figures and percentage is an estimate and you should decide on your own ratio.
* If you have not done this before , go ahead and DO IT NOW.

3. Stay Within Your fixed budget and be disciplined to follow it. The most difficult times are the times when you want something really bad and can't wait to have it! But you are sure to improve overtime with training and discipline.

Thats basically all that I have for you today, if there is one way of getting started to financial freedom is to be financially intelligent in money management. This is the basic foundation for everyone and especially if you are serious in creating a steady financial rock to stand on when the storm comes.

Ad Tracking Part 2 - Setting up a tracking link..

Howdy...

In the past post I talked about the importance of Ad Tracking and its many benefits. I know that you should definitely be wondering how to actually setup one, let along reap the benefits of it? Well, you're in for a treat... because I've got a tutorial prepared just for you today!

If you're wondering where is the best deal to start as a basic tracker; you should check out Here. I only recommend those that I have found favourable and am using it right now. 4. Just fill in the needed Campaign ID by keying in any name you fancy like "new" as an example.

5. The URL to track would be the page that you want the Ad Tracker that is supposed to forward or redirect to. In this case , we should put your Success University lead capture page. Make sure you include the http:// too.

6. In the notes, it is just additional notes that you might want to post to remind yourself such as where you posted this link and what was the headlines. Now, the good point here is that you can have the option to put notes or not. Its your choice.

You're done!

Well, that certainly was simple. In the next operation you should also see the option to have the tracking link which you can use. Copy it and paste in your sig file. Remember, that I have taught you how to 'mask' your lead capture page link with a clickable text ? This time just insert the tracking link as a replacement for your lead capture page link.

Why ? As you see, the tracking link will already be forwarding directly to your Success University lead capture page!

Since you've done all you need go ahead give yourself a pat on the back and grab that cup o' coffee and take a full rewarding sip! yep... you deserved this.

Its easy to monitor the clicks coming in, you only need to again check back at the main page and click on "View List Of Campaigns". Did I mention that you could check the details of the links and which IP address where the links came from ?

Yep , you can. Go to "generate report (about your campaign)" and you will see all the details neat stuff to help enhance your laser targetting techniques to effective marketing!

Thats it folks! Keep monitoring and focus on the strategies or places which pulls you effective clicks and scrap the ones which doesn't give you much clicks. Just this morning, I was thinking about a short article I made earlier on taking action and I figured that it would be great if I could actually back this up with a small point today.

When was the last time you sent an email ?

When was the last time you made a post anywhere online ?

When was the last time you did a little research ?

I could go on and on but the main factor as you can see is really the word you..

Now, lots of times marketers know and know one thing for sure, and that it to really begin to make a step of boldness to apply what they've learn and stumble a path or two. Just like when you were a kid learning to ride a bike. You'd fall and make mistakes on the first day but you'll get better and better as time progresses because you've spent time on your bike and pretty soon you're zooming round the block with your friends like a real expert!

Its exactly the same with internet marketing. One thing that we fail to realise sometimes is that you will never be able to learn by not applying immediately what had been taught and absorbed by your mind. Its information overload- reality is you can't download and install everything like "The Matrix".

Its an addiction really and if you're into the game of clicking here and there with the hope of hitting a home run on the perfect tip of the day; then chances are you ain't progressig very much. Honestly, even the best marketers of today made it this far only and only because they took true result oriented action.

..Let me tell share my story with you about how I started with Internet Marketing and in this business with Success University . In actual fact, I was just an ordinaly Joe like most of you right now staring at the screen and reading other articles and surfing the web for an answer to making money online. Nothing can be further from the truth. I have been to quite a few forums and spoke to some people. Yes, Even those that are not directly involved in Internet Marketing and or Success University . Those that have failed the most times or rather who actually tried something that did not work actually learnt something new and eventually became better at it.

Maybe you're just starting out in internet marketing trying to get some results online and trying your best effort to put things that you learnt into action. Are you getting the results that you wanted? I'd leave this question to you to set because that is your feedback, feedback stems from your action.

Action is a direct result of your sub-conscious mind making a habitual decision to do something today, this hour, this minute and even this very second!

For me, I make this decision sub-consciously because once you have made your decision to commit yourself to putting an action everyday. Soon enough it became an absolute 100% integral part of my life. I didn't even made a decision to do something about my business.. My habits naturally guided me to do so!

Go make an internal decision to commit yourself into putting at least 1 action a day. Be it simple or complex!

I'm so excited tonight because I'm going to share with you the exact same methods that I used to achieve success through forum marketing.

So, what are forums anyway ? let's just say that you're interested in "gold" and you want to learn more about it because you want to invest. So, how do you learn more about it ? By discussing with other people with that same interest or experience of course! These are actually called community boards or commonly termed as forums.

Your 1st Step:

Go to google and do a search according to your prefered topic of interest or target market such as "investing in gold forums". It should give you decent search results of what forums and community boards are available.

Your 3rd Step:

Once you've got all the steps done and you're ready to go except remember this!

a) It's a mistake to praise your own products in forums. People are not fools: they know when they are being manipulated.

b) You should give honest answers and quality advice. That's all they need to want to read your signature and click on the link to your website.

c) You should never ever spam by putting a direct advertising posts! You are there to learn and help, not to sell. (today, its alright to put a signature but just don't directly place your links or saying that your website is the best and all that hype!

d) Read the forum policies carefully if you don't want to be banned for advertising.


One last thing : Focus on putting posts on a consistent basis, you might want to make a commitment like 5 posts a day regardless and will commit to that. Join at least 3-5 forums if you can. Allocate like 30mins -> 1 hour of your time (each day) doing posts in forums.. and you're on your way to automated marketing!

I recently was doing some simple research regarding our business with success university and how it can correlate with us in today's moving trend.

What I discovered is just "WOW"!

Here's where I went : www.google.com/trends

"You know from performing a simple search on Google there are roughly ten times as many sites based on roses as there are violets, but you do not know how many people are searching for either of the terms. Now you can find it out, too.

This graph reflects searches from the last two years. It will also show you a comparison among the top ten countries. As well, Google Trends will have by the side of your graph a selection of news stories relating to the topic."

Okay, now the results, I typed "MLM" - then this popped up

Bandung, Indonesia has the highest number of online searches for "MLM", followed by Jakarta.
If I get this correct, Indonesia is the number 1 country in term ofthe number of online searches for "MLM'.

Followed by India as it dominates the ranking 6,7,8 and 9.

Even Singapore is rank number 4.

If the stats are correct, this is simply amazing!

We will have a group of starving crowds looking for opportunities in Indonesia.Since we now know which states they are in...What we need to plan now is how to present our food to them.If you are thinking of marketing to Asians,now is your chance. Use the above as your guide.

Branding Yourself By Using Domain Names (Part II)

I have been wondering lately about the many newbie's or perhaps new internet marketer out there just starting up and I do really feel for them. This is because they join lots of different programs that promises wealth and "quick cash" incomes.

Well, I'd like to remind everyone that Success University isn't about all that stuff. You don't get a free lunch and there is no such thing as free money. In order to get something you have to give something. Thats the honest truth from myself.

Oh yes.. let's not get sidetracked shall we ?

Right, so we reviewed previouly how you could actually brand yourself by using domain names. By now, I take it that you have already went and gotten yourself a domain name. Especially a good one I might add because thats the anchor for your lead capture page. Its an important first step for starting to brand yourself.

Before anything I'd like to start off by sharing with you based on my experience..

"Not long ago before I was good at anything at all online I was just surfing my lungs out over the net because I was doing some research. My eyes chanched upon this link (found it via a Google search) and lo and behold I clicked it... and I got lead to a really beaufifully designed website with some totally interactive buttons and audio voice and presentations (you know the likes).

Here's How YOU can start to NOT get into the same mistake the website owner in my story did:

1. Go to your domain management tab in your account and look for the domain forwarding tab.
2. Once you're in this tab you should see a few fields on your screen.
3. Forward your domain to the address for instance to : http://vern.successuniversity.com/slim
4. Got that ? ok , you'll immediately notice that you will need to check the "mask domain" box
5. Your "masked title" box should be placed as something you want viewers to see on the top most of their browser. A good example would be to put "welcome to my website!". Its just an example so please be creative about this point.
6. The Masked Description Meta-Tag is actually a short summary of that site.
7. The Meta-Tag Keywords are the keyword people use to search for your domain name or website showcased here. Its another topic so I'll post it on another time.

Thats's It! If you check and now go to your own domain name is should already be fowarding directly to your website such as Success University or something.
