Story Of How A "NewBie Woman" Got Started Online

I've been doing some reading online and was really intrigued by some of the things that I've read about other marketers blog. Some go as far as a FEW years back when they got started online. There was a lady blogger who I really respected. For some credibility reason I'd not want to make her name public in case I get sued! LOL. However, there are some interesting snippets such as when she got involved in her Internet network marketing opportunity... there wasn't much to boast about except for buying 25K leads and pumping them with emails.

Yes, you know the type, buy the leads and feed them with tons of emails with the hope to "build a relationship". Guess what? It worked! There isn't much to say except that she kept plugging into the system that she was in until after about a year later... she QUIT her job! How inspiring could that get. Some lessons learnt was this:

1. Just about anyone, even a newbie can make it in earning money online.

2. It goes without fail that if you really focus and believe in what you're doing, the money will follow. Pretty common analogy but I've done countless of research and believe me the winners usually are the ones who didn't quit the first few times they failed.

3. Consistency pays even when you're feeling down.

Remember she took something like more than a whole YEAR before she earned $3000+ a month consistently. Even so, before she found this particular opportunity she had in fact lost money and time via her previous "initial online adventures".

Words For The Newbie

Now, an encouragement for you if you're pretty new to this marketing game is not to be afraid to DO something. Be it joining a program or even attempting to do some marketing strategies online. Yes, it's scary but trust me the first step is the best step you'll ever make in your LIFE!

Look at me... I suck at writing! HAHA. But I still earn money online... wait that was lame.

This really is low cost. I mean you get some neat marketing tools such as autoresponders and also a good ad tracking facility. Say "good riddance" to paying high cost marketing tools you need.

Revamping My Blog

Well, in any sense. I'm looking to revamp my blog over the next month or maybe around Nov time frame latest. Sorry if this blog looks too "shabby" for you (if there's anyone reading this...).

The fact is I want to bank in on making my blog a little different than just teaching. More like exposing what I do by taking an actual product or marketing system to show it. Proving that just about anyone can get started making some decent income online at either little or no cost. There have been some responses but they were all generic stuff from my subscribers.

"By the way, I love you guys... my dear valued subscribers"

However, I'm looking at really "specific" questions about marketing and what you'd really like to see happen in my new blog. There's gonna be a sneaky twist but I haven't worked out the details yet. Hmmm. Food for thought.

Maybe I should work out a skeleton plan this weekend.

After A Long Time...

Hey! How're you doing? I have to admit my friends keep telling me that I'm getting a little lazier at blogging. Well it's true! I AM getting lazier. Just to not sound to loud of hypey.. in fact I have been working on another project on mine and getting a little more serious about affiliate marketing. Heck, my speed of writing have improved too. Plus, now that I have been able to setup my DMO or "daily method of operation" things have been pretty much both stressful and exciting.

At times I wonder what are others doing online and how are they doing it. Then, other times I would just lie down on my bed staring at the ceiling thinking about my next million falling through the roof. Yeap, I'm just like anyone out there. In case you're still wondering - nope I'm not a millionaire - yet. But we all gotta take small steps to push towards our goal , right? To all you web entrepreneurs or aspiring marketers out there. I've got news for you. You're going to make it and all it takes is that tiny 'nudge' day by day.

Gosh, I'm even trying to motivate myself here. LOL!

There isn't much else to share because pretty soon I'll be revamping this entire blog as well to revolve around my life a little bit more. Yes, the title is ultimate marketing secrets but somehow I felt that during my blogging journey I mixed both my life and marketing journey into one so a new title would be more appropriate.

Are You Buying Everything Online!?

I knew that this would be another gracious week as I am so enjoying the time at home spent with my lovely wife last weekend. Also, It's been sometime since I lasted posted. However, there were projects that I had to focus on and kept me from posting.

Part of the reason was that I had wanted to change the total outlook of my blog but some screwy firewall issue on my laptop keeps me away from this like a repellant! You're going to learn something different this week because it is something that I also recently discovered.

It's not new but it will benefit you I'm sure.

As per the fridge you see above? What do you notice?

It is small yes. Don't ask where this picture was taken. Okay, from my hotel room back during my trip to France beginning of this year.

Notice how the items inside are just nicely arrange to fit into the fridge? Heck, I made a trip to the grocery store just to get the necessary items I need for the day. It lasted me about 2 days and then I had to refill again.

I'm quite a pig when it comes to food but I also exercise well, mind you ;)

The point I'm trying to make is that if you really want to buy anything online, even if it's a measly $17 item - just make sure it is something you really need. Ensure that it contributes to your bottom line which is simply to earn profits. At least it would be something that you would even be willing to work on once you have it.

I made this sin for more almost half a year when I first started. Buying everything from tools, e-books and what not. Trust me, been there done that.

Also, notice I only buy what I needed to last me during a certain time frame. Don't just go and get it hoping you will use it the next 3 months or so. It has to be a tool or information that you would need right now. Today.

There really isn't much for me to shout about except the fact that when I did this, it brought me closer to my goals and I began to see massive results such as a huge flow of traffic. Perhaps not on this blog because it looks kinda dated, but on my other websites.

Be aware of what you want before someone tries to push you the latest e-book and hype out there. It's a jungle and you got lots to choose from. Don't make the wrong choices.

Otherwise, just learn from your mistakes and never repeat them again.

My Credit Card Story (Part II)

I'd actually wanted to update my blog earlier on but it wasn't so easy during the past few days. You can blame it on the lame internet connection here in Malaysia. I love my country, but sometimes it just sucks having such an unstable Internet connection here.

I also busted about 4 hours of my own productivity time just 2 days ago by going to a local cyber cafe and played Warcract DOTA. Got beaten flat even as a team and went back poorer by $3.50! LOL.

Oh Yes, back to my story about my credit card fraud. Well, ladies and gentleman. The culprit will be caught and the merchant bank has successfully traced his name and IC number (yes, he is Singaporean - too bad).

Complete with house address and mobile number. How cool is that?

So, here's what I did:

Submitted the verification form back to my credit card bank
Stated that this person is not authorised by me to perform the $4000 transaction
Mailed it
Went to the police station to report the "crooks" details
Go home and relax

Kinda simple but thats exactly what I did. You should be able to envision that what ever you're doing, the money will come. No worries. Just hang in there, do what you have to do and wait for the best to happen in your life.

Sounds a little creepily close to the Law Of Attraction I might add. Hmmmm.

Yeah, I'm still in Ipoh and it's like 12:37pm as I write this post. Feel exhausted shopping all day with my friend and enjoying the fresh seafood. Remind me to put up some nice pictures of the food we ate. Just the pictures thats all.

Good Web Hosting Service - Who Needs It?

So, who actually needs a good web hosting service? Start with you. Think about it. I mean there's tons of cheap ones out there just hungry for your attention. Then, occasionally you'll be tempted by those Adwords advertisers who write out great ads that grabs your attention.

Before we go any further I'd like to share with you how I started on my selection.

Back in June of 2006, which was somewhere last year I wanted to start by making money on the internet. Really, guys... actually it's a business that you would start not how to many money and all that crap stuff. That is exactly why you can stop dreaming. Back then, I was just as green as anyone.

Heck, I didn't even know what the heck is a good web hosting service.

It was like a 'black box to me'.

Little did I realise that in order to have a webpage like this blog you are reading, with a good URL in place you need a good web hosting service to back it up to store your web pages. Of course, technical stuff on the web was not my cup of tea. Now it is, but back then - wow, I was so spaced out by all this jargon.

Okay, I'm going to give you a few pointers on what to look out for. Just 3 main tips you can keep an eye out.

1. Good 99% Uptime.

Why all the fuss about uptime?

Here's the thing. Imagine you are out for the entire week on a trip and you left your internet business to run on it's own. You got your emails running in an autoresponder (don't worry, I'll cover more on this next time), your web traffic is pouring onto your websites. Nice right?

Imagine if suddenly that good stuff just stopped - during your out of town trip. For an entire week. It sucks. I knew a few friends who disregarded having a good web hosting service which has bad uptime. Your web host should have at least 99% uptime.

2. Great (and friendly) Support

There's nothing worse than paying monthly for a web host and then finding out that your emails and request never got answered. Multiply that by 365 days a year. Imagine all the businesses ideals and fancy scripts you couldn't install all year long?

So far, I've seen some good web hosting service companies actually have "live chat". That's really hardcore and I applaud them for that. It's enough if they answer you within 24-48 hours by email.

Another story I have got to tell you is I've heard some buddies of mine got their hosting shut down because of some darn faulty script or that some software they uploaded. Not cool.

A great support is useful in case you wanted to check something if it's ok and if you got questions.

3. Nice (fancy...) Features

No good web hosting service would be complete without the inclusion of nice fancy features. Usually a 5 GB bandwidth is enough. As for web space, if you got 1GB - it rocks alright. I'll bet you that this whole page is not more than 60KB. Enough said.

Don't be greedy. Those unlimited web space things seems too good to be true. They usually are. Besides, why pay more for so much space? You're not going to run a movie site are you? Oh and the answer to that is not to go from a good web hosting service to a mega-host. But just upload it on google or youtube. Period.

Before I end, the answer to how I got started is to pick an all-in-one-solution. Which gave me a fairly affordable price per month. At the same time, having all 3 characteristics above....

Becareful About Using Your Credit Card!

This will be a really different post from my normal marketing message.

I felt that it's my responsibility to share with my fellow friends (you) about this. True Story.

I never expected this to happen to me, not in a decade! But it did and it's happening all over the world. This would be a shocker to you probably that an affiliate marketer like me would be hit with this tragedy as well *sigh*.

Anyway, I received my credit card statement somewhere at the end of May and didn't actually take a peek at it. My wife was telling me "Hey! You gotta look at this statement...". I was so tired that night I didn't actually bother to check it and I was sure that it's just a normal statement that "blah, blah" stuff, whatever. Baaaaad move.... Vern...

You see, I don't spend that much money. Just basically online stuff.

Went to bed that night thinking that I should just take a look the next morning.

I was glad I did.

A shocker of about S$4000 (US$2700) was made on my credit card on the same day!

Honest To The Heavens, I never ever spent that much in a day. Not even when I was in France having my 2 weeks trip. Heck no. So, what did I do?

Yeah, you bet I called up the credit card company and they even told me "are you sure you didn't make that transaction?", "you mean you don't remember making that purchase?", "you want me to check and verify a transaction that you made for you?".

*frustrating* *frustrating* *frustrating*

... Did you ever get that feeling that your conviction of the truth was so strong you could swear by a lightning? That's the moment right there. For this post sake, I will not mention the credit card company here and just let this serve as an educational note. Okay, let's carry on.

Here's what I did in about 5 steps when I discovered a fraud transaction on my credit card:

Contact The Lost/Stolen Card Call Centre and report it. Block it or something.
No matter what, make a police report and as for a 'dispute form'
Attach the reply of the 'dispute form' with a copy of your statement & police report.
Send it immediately.
Wait a few days for confirmation of the credit card company, if not call them again.

I never went past step 5 because it all went pretty smooth for me. However, the investigation would take about 90 days to see if it's valid or not. So, I'll keep you updated about the result. It's been something like a month plus already.

Here's the thing, it's an online transaction. How did I know that wasn't my transaction? easy. It's for payment on a phone bill. I never paid my phone bill online and definitely not with my credit card - ever. Plus, my entire lives phone bill was never over $300 a month. You do the math, a total of S$4000 in a single month? No way, hosay.

Alright, situation is simmered down for now because they already got my dispute form and my credit is temporary restored back to normal. Hope for the best, hope for me. Okay, no flaming needed here. This happened all a month ago.

By the way, I'd like to leave a resource for you from Visa International on protecting your credit card from fraud. Check it when you're available. Who knows, anything can happen, right?

Abusing Google Adwords (This Is Dirty)

It's been awhile since I've posted some video's and believe me, I researched in youtube and video.google.com and found out all those irritating stuff about how to this and how to that videos.

Nothing out of the ordinary - just usual boring stuff. I'm going to post another video in my next posting and it will be an inspiring one but this time, I found a rather "dirty" video that reveals something sneaky about Google Adwords.

Google, if you're watching this - please don't ban my website .. LOL!

I don't think it's solved yet but I do know that you can still profit from it if possible and try to make the same tactics you see in this video.

Yes, I did the research and some of these sites are still at large and profiting like mad. Probably it's because Google doesn't have that much time to pin point every single website and disable them. Pay Per Click is certainly a science. Smart ones profit.

Something You Should Know About Pay Per Click

I'm feeling a little pissy today so I've decided to not write my usual blog rant and just give you a small tip or two about Google Adwords and about PPC. Which actually means Pay Per Click. Recently, I know that some people have been trying to contact me about PPC and the many ways to make money from it.

You can still make money and lots of it. However, nothing comes into good manifestation if you don't do your due diligence in research and then making a move after that. The many downfalls are still the primary "throwing money down the toilet" with PPC. So, what's the typical user doing?

He/She's setting a budget of maybe $30 - $100 a day and put a bunch of keywords they "think" it's profitable and then sit and wait while tweaking their results.

LOL! what a bunch of crap.

Ok, let's get into the gist of this post. I'm going to show you a small hint or two about doing good PPC research and I'm going to get flamed for this but honestly, I don't really care and hey.. if this helps the guy in critic, then all glory be unto his business, right? no harm done.

Let's start.

By the way, I assume you're no naive newbie on this topic because I'm going to be quite direct about this. It's straight from the horses mouth and if you still don't understand, please either read up on Adwords or just plain write in my comments so I can answer it for you there.

Step 1: Go into Google and type "make money"

You'll see patterns there such as the "sponsored links". Now, please don't be confused because the 3 ads you see on the top of the 'organic' searches are really quite the same with the ones you see on the left. I don't know the ads might be different when you do this exercise at your end but the foundation is still the same.

Though you have you becareful because "make money" is a pretty competitive and generic term so I'll only use this for demonstration and educational purposes.

I underlined that headline because it's a little misleading and I didn't quite like it. No selling, Not m.l.m. how amateur! I mean this person that put up the ad is like a newbie or green guy from planet Mars or something. Now, I don't claim to be a guru about ad copy on Adwords but obviously this person thinks that his CTR (click through rate) is great because he's on the top 3 and getting clicks from that ad copy style.

Yes, people will click but imagine a guy that buys into the program and finds out that in order to make money online he needs to resell his program or ebook or whatever to another person and get a commission?

See where I'm getting at here.

We're all salesmen and selling on the internet. The way we do is through the legendary skill known as internet marketing. The stuff that everyone is drilling into your brain about what to do and what not nowadays. Filter the good and throw the bad away. Information overload is not good for you.

Step 2: See those ads on the left

These are not very different from the "sponsored links". The only thing is that they don't contain the phrase "make money" in their ad copy, this means that their ads are penalised in a way where they will have to pay more.

Actually, I like to be in position 4-7 or so. It's much more targetted unless Google loves you for some reason and "bumps" you to the "top sponsorship listing" for being relevant. A little more explaination on this next.

You should not even consider putting up an ad thats not proven itself yet.

what do I mean?

Ok, I could tell straight up that people who target these keywords and based on the way the ad is written I can judge immediately that they are newbie's. If you want to create a good ad. At least make your keyword appear ONCE in your ad copy in Adwords.

This way the users and Google will find it relevant in a certain sense.

Honestly, how would you feel if you wanted to find "flea collar for dogs" and then you saw ads showcasting "dogs for sale?". Weird right ? exactly. That's the same with the ads right here.

Also, you'd be best to monitor these ads for at least a week or two and I'm quite confident that you will most likely not see the same ads appear again.

Why?

It's because you know that they are just there to jack up the price of the bid in Adwords and replaced by other newbie's that "races" the top listing just to get clicks.

What a sad cycle indeed.

Step 3: Investigate the performing ad copy

I won't dive into too much into the details of such a post on ad copy but just to illustrate how you can dissect the website and watch if it's profitable is just by observing how "engaging" the website copy is.

Getting people to click is one thing, getting people to either buy or register with you is another thing altogether. Seriously, if you target the right crowd and give them what they are exactly looking for - then my friend, we are in business!

Let's come back to topic and visit that website as I have highlited earlier in step 1 and also by checking it out.

Here's what I saw...

Can you see how I saw the headline and thought it was pretty good? The two elements that I thought was pretty cool and hit a home run was that this person emphasized on the reader and not on himself/herself. In fact, the best part of the headline was "spend more time" with your family and friends. I know it's common but this stuff still works.

Though the entire website and pictures was quite generic and non-personal. If I were visiting it I'd think it was a little too professional and 'cold'.

Just be yourself whenever you want to make a website ad copy and write it from your heart. You'll be suprised at the responses you get. I'm still suprised at how people still respond to my webpage and decide to "opt in" no matter how old or ugly my webpage looked.

In closing, you can monitor and watch other keywords and ad copy on the web by doing some homework on what target market you want to go for. My advice is be consistent and just focus on 1 or a few target markets or niches you'd like to attack.

This keeps your goals in check too.

I love reading books and perhaps this is my confession I started out actually reading novels and crappy gamebooks which gave me 'cheap thrills' when I was young. If you can identify with this of you could just have a love to read some small novels previously or just plain reading about any great materials about life, read on.

Recently, when browsing at the local library I picked up a great book and I suggest that you should pick this up if you're really thinking about expanding or just need that 'tiny' push on your internet business. It's really a gem but don't let the title fool you to think this is just another mumbo-jumbo inspirational stuff.

Pick up "Automatic Wealth For Grads" by Michael Masterson.

Yes, I know. You're thinking - come on man... I'm not a grad anymore!

Ok, me too.

But this is different. really.

Just pick it up if you have time and read it. Order it from amazon or whatever. After going through cover to cover I felt that the most intruguing part about this book was it's final chapter which mentioned about ...

Can you believe it...

"How To Live Like A Billionaire"

Pretty catchy I must say and this is just an except from the first parapragh.

"When you think about the rich - the really rich - you may find yourself marvelling at their... well, their money. Consider for example, Bill Gates, the world's richest man. If you thnk $10 million is a fortune, consider this: He has 4,000 of those fortunes..."

Then, this is what really caught my attention.

"Consider, for example, sleeping. What does a billionaire want out of sleep time? I'd say the same thing as you do: blissful, uninterrupted consciousness. And what will give you that (besides peace of mind, which you can't buy)? Answer: a great mattress. And how much does the world's best mattress cost? Maybe $1,500"

Tell me now... how darn inspirational and mind-blowing is that two paragrahs to you?

It's was really awesome to me.

You see, what we don't know is that for the super-rich. The whole thing about earning money or hoarding lots of it really isn't to buy anymore nice toys and materials things anymore. It was for the game and for the sport of the whole cycle of business.

Think about it. You could always have what the rich have, a good bed, a good house, car and all that. They drive almost the same thing as you. Oh yes, you thought of that luxurious sports car or that 5 figure vacation, right? Well, stop it.

I guarantee you that if you really follow your hearts desires and work towards your passive income you will get more than what you will ever need in your entre life!

Learn to enjoy life. That's the lesson.

By the way, here's a few pictures of me chilling with my wife during one of our 'outings' during the past months or so. I was so lazy to put this up but felt it was due time that I had this posted. Please don't mistake me as an ego guy but just goes to show that while I earn good income from my business, I also allocate a good portion to enjoy it with my family as a celebration.

5 Top Targeted Marketing Systems

It isn't such a strange wonder that targeted marketing systems are coming into play into todays internet marketing arena. You should know since you are already reading this in my blog posts. I never write about anything which is not relevant to my target market. So, you should be already getting a good value out of my regular updates at this point in time.

Alright, without dwelling into the subject of being too much time on other things. Instead let me get direct to the point on the 5 top targeted marketing systems which just pops right out of my mind. Simply put, I can give you super genuis marketing ideas but you will have to decide which ones work best for you. Be reminded that this list isn't in any proper order so there's no such thing as which is better than the other.

1. Focused Traffic and Website Conversion

You can decide to have this as your main activity for an entire month where you will pick a certain topic. Dwell and study it, that means doing research and driving massive traffic from one main location. Those traffic will be made to fall on a website which is geared towards "greeting" the reader exactly where they came from before that. Such as article's , PPC or even blogs.

2. Less Competition, Wholesale Keyword Ranking

If you decide to do a certain search on Google, you will probably see that there's quite a number of people already dominating the top listing in AdWords or just being in the top 3 organic search engine positions online. Don't fret. You could easily crush the competition on targeting the 3 or 4 word count for your keyword phrase. Do the search again and you'll hit the jackpot when you see competition but there's like less than 500,000 websites competing.

3. Shoot First, Sort Out Later Funnel System

This system should be one of the important elements of targeted marketing systems. In fact, it's easy but all the same depending on your style. A good list building tactic. Imagine that you blast your ad or squeeze page to a bunch or non targeted people. You could use your autoreponder or email follow up to sort out between the good and bad apples. You don't need to feel obliged to tell them you're sorry for sending too many emails. They should say either a Yes or No depending on character. New persons should be mostly starting out with this system.

Right here is the golden nugget and the core of the SEO techniques. You'll see people chanting about how keyword is important in getting you ranked. Yes, true. However, good content always over shadows bad content. People or visitors will tell you if you are bad or good judging by the way you present your content. Soon, more and more poeple will tag your website and recommend it to others even. See how fast this can propel you to a top position in the search engines? ;)

5. Highly Leveraged Network System

Here I'm not going to go into the details of mlm or network marketing companies. Yes, you can use these companies but I'm talking about the network system that you are living right now. Your life, who do you hang out with most often and what do you talk about? Chances are you become a product of your environment. A highly leveraged network system means that you have friends on the go ready to help you market or make money by using his/her targeted marketing systems. Why did they do it with you? Simple. They trust you.

Of all the point mentioned above they are basically what I have applied in my life so far and they have yielded great results. I know that it's not too technical but for me simple works best. Then, multiply the effort by 10 times. Watch what happens? Money starts to roll in.

This proves that using one of the many targeted marketing systems, I'm able to generate not only my return on investment but also many profits along the way.

If people trust you (and that topic on 'how to' is covered above), they'll love you so muuch they'll hand you their credit card often enough you'll have to say stop.

You see, it's simple my friend. You don't need to be too focused on keywords optimization and also putting too much plugins. Yeah, they're cool but only really cool for you. Most readers read the content and not too much on the googies they could click.

Though I might just migrate my blog into something else like an upgrade of NOS in a Supra Engine just like in the movie "The Fast & The Furious".

Anyway, let me get back to our little discussion and tips.

Forums are essentially still widely disregarded to most marketers mainly because they stay in the same forum month after month , year after year (oh gosh! why??) and become to 'attached' to their group that they could almost marry one another mentally.

The way to get traffic from Forums:

1. Post relevant posts in forums which you know a good measure about that topic or thread regularly.

2. At the same time, you should post to at least 3 to 5 forums of your interest and target market.

3. When you post, there's a signature and you should regard this as an important redirector for poeple to "check your website out" - in case they find your post interesting ;)

It's just these 3 steps really. I have had great results of about a 100+ Unique VISITs to my site just in ONE forum alone in about just over a week.

Imagine if I had multiplied this by 5 times? how many click I got a month ? You do the math.

So, go out there make your posts and keep posting regularly to see some massive results.

A Nice Suprise

Just today, I had been a little hectic over a few plans I had ahead on my marketing agenda and decided to take a quick peek at my own efforts versus results generated. It gets sort of nice to take a break once in awhile.

Here's what I did:

1) Go To Google Search

2) Typed "marketing secrets"

3) In just a few seconds the results came out this way

It was certainly a nice suprise if I might say so. I'm going to be making my way to the higher ranking as time goes by since I like a good sport. This will let me reflect on what works and what doesn't. In turn, you'll definitely benefit tremendously from my little experiments.

In case you don't already know, testing and extracting out the best of your marketing strategies are the key to success. Painstakingly painful, but very rewarding in the end.

The Greatest Power Of An Internet Marketer

Over the past week or so I have to be quite honest...

I was sitting on my big butt! ;) Literally doing nothing. Someone should totally ask me to get off my lazy butt and get to work really. If you're in my list, I assume that you know my mobile. Just remember that when you call me it's in Singapore time. Just look at me sitting there, hah!

No, this isn't the Greatest Power Of An Internet Marketer. Far from it. There was something very profound that has been lingering in my mind during the past week and some quick catch ups with some of my fellow partners and friends really made me re-think my strategies. Of course, it all wouldn't be complete if I mentioned that I listened to some audio's on my nice Sony Ericsson phone. (Psst, I do not do anything else when I'm with my wife - that's a tip for all men out there)

While being inspired by fellow internet marketers who strangely 'preached' about basic business philopsophies, I was really drawn to my main stream of thoughts about what I've learned via my own experience in this business. The one thing that really defines the true power of an internet marketer. Do you already know this? I betcha this will refresh you as it did for me.

The Greatest Power Of An Internet Marketer.

It is the power to resist all temptations online. All opportunities and internet marketing sales pages. I tell you, for one second you're doing something and you'd be drawn to read someone else's website with a product to sell or another opportunity that promises you to make money -> you're tempted. Period.... and we know what you're going to part with.

You see, being able to resist all you see online and work on your primary business will mean that you have determination and most of all FOCUS. The key for super FAT checks in your inbox or mail is just having the key to resist and stay focused. Keep your eye on the ball. Even on the field. In soccer, the striker gets to score because he focused on the ball, where it went, how to control it and kick it at the right direction. I'd say that ball is your business.

Leadership Files: How Can You Double Your Income?

I realised just a few weeks ago that in order to truly increase profits or in this case your income figure is to be able to do things differently from others without seeking opinions (from undesirable individuals). Most of the things we do today are an effect of our desire to want something and average people still seek another human's opinion to 'back them up'.

Johnny Wimbrey was here just yesterday and he was right to say:

"I don't care what people say about me, I take responsibility of my every actions.. because my actions determine my future"

Are you guilty of doing this?

Many times in the past, I'm guilty of also seeking the approval of others. As time went by, most of my own decisions recently seems to stem from my very own thought process and the only time I communicated with others is to share with them my ideas. This is a very inspiring lesson for me to pass on to you. If you're sitting at home reading this, probably it's a good time to just grab a piece of paper and write down the 3 ideas or actions you wanted to do very differently from others a long time ago but never did it.

Then, write down just beside each of those ideas the reasons WHY you didn't. This will show where your limitations are and what is stopping you. By identifying the problem or why you're being stuck we can move on to solving it sooner than ever. No problem is too big to solve. Trust me. Now, try to imagine how you can solve your problem by seeking the counsel of others.

Each week, you will discover a new blockage, a new limitation and more importantly if you do this consistently as I suggested - sooner of later you will find new friends and mentors.

Try it out and do something different so your future can be different from today.

The Real Reason Why We Do It

Today, I was pondering and reflecting a little on why we all got started in this business and the real reason behind doing what we're doing as online business builders. While you can find all sorts of advice and how people are teaching (or trying to teach) you how to create wealth online.. OK, be it online or offline. Have you ever pondered what's the real reason behind all this?

Is it about the money?

Well, it's true but not exactly.

You see, what if you had walked into a store and found out that there was this nice dress or shirt that you really fancy. It costs just over a $1000. I mean seriously, it's branded, it's new... heck! It's what you WANT!

So, it costs you just over $1000 to get it, right ? Do you need $10,000? Yeah, it's useful but you really don't NEED $10,000 at that moment. You're not going to walk to the counter and say:
"Hey, that new design you got displaying there.. it's TOO cheap! Give it to me for $10,000!"
Catch what I mean?

I've discussed and learnt this. That we work or have a business started is not just to be able to have more than enough. In reality, we want freedom. The freedom to choose and live the lifestyle you want. Be it travelling, shopping for clothes, nice big toys like a car and a house. Money is important. Ultimately, a part-time business or a business of our own will give us the freedom to do what we want in life in the end.

Given the thought of having freedom or money. I'd choose freedom anytime of the day. You see, the freedom of the time and choice that I have will allow me to generate more money than I ever wanted. This is wonderful and exciting at the same time. Go out there, make a choice and live your business venture for freedom!

Do You Feel Like Quitting?

Many months ago when I first started out in this online business with Success University. I seriously (no kidding) wanted nothing but calling it QUITS. Then, you might way "No way, You?
