Story Of How A "NewBie Woman" Got Started Online

I've been doing some reading online and was really intrigued by some of the things that I've read about other marketers blog. Some go as far as a FEW years back when they got started online. There was a lady blogger who I really respected. For some credibility reason I'd not want to make her name public in case I get sued! LOL. However, there are some interesting snippets such as when she got involved in her Internet network marketing opportunity... there wasn't much to boast about except for buying 25K leads and pumping them with emails.

Yes, you know the type, buy the leads and feed them with tons of emails with the hope to "build a relationship". Guess what? It worked! There isn't much to say except that she kept plugging into the system that she was in until after about a year later... she QUIT her job! How inspiring could that get. Some lessons learnt was this:

1. Just about anyone, even a newbie can make it in earning money online.

2. It goes without fail that if you really focus and believe in what you're doing, the money will follow. Pretty common analogy but I've done countless of research and believe me the winners usually are the ones who didn't quit the first few times they failed.

3. Consistency pays even when you're feeling down.

Remember she took something like more than a whole YEAR before she earned $3000+ a month consistently. Even so, before she found this particular opportunity she had in fact lost money and time via her previous "initial online adventures".

Words For The Newbie

Now, an encouragement for you if you're pretty new to this marketing game is not to be afraid to DO something. Be it joining a program or even attempting to do some marketing strategies online. Yes, it's scary but trust me the first step is the best step you'll ever make in your LIFE!

Look at me... I suck at writing! HAHA. But I still earn money online... wait that was lame.

Anyway, let me insert a pitch here about a newbie based money making system..

NPN opportunity

This really is low cost. I mean you get some neat marketing tools such as autoresponders and also a good ad tracking facility. Say "good riddance" to paying high cost marketing tools you need.

Revamping My Blog

Well, in any sense. I'm looking to revamp my blog over the next month or maybe around Nov time frame latest. Sorry if this blog looks too "shabby" for you (if there's anyone reading this...).

The fact is I want to bank in on making my blog a little different than just teaching. More like exposing what I do by taking an actual product or marketing system to show it. Proving that just about anyone can get started making some decent income online at either little or no cost. There have been some responses but they were all generic stuff from my subscribers.

"By the way, I love you guys... my dear valued subscribers"

However, I'm looking at really "specific" questions about marketing and what you'd really like to see happen in my new blog. There's gonna be a sneaky twist but I haven't worked out the details yet. Hmmm. Food for thought.

Maybe I should work out a skeleton plan this weekend.

Official Millionaire In Air France

Although, it was a 12 hours flight from France to Singapore. It was a certainly pleasant one as there was always someone I meet along the way whom I had a golden opportunity to talk and discuss with. At this point in time, if you've decided to fly somewhere always keep an entreprenurial mindset.




Smile and introduce yourself if you don't already know the name of the person next to you. It helps to warm up the atmosphere between you. This flight which was AF256 I had the chance to sit next to a nice lady named Anne. She was on the same flight as me transiting to Australia after Singapore. So, we had the chance to discuss and exchange views along the way.

Here's how it went...

Anne: Hi (with a BIG smile... man, her teeth is really white!), are you going back from holidays?

Me : Oh Hi! (embarrased I'd not greet her earlier and fumbling with my safety buckle), no actually I'm on my way back from a business trip. The thing is I enjoyed it as I had the chance to go skiing for the first time too.

Anne: Wow, it's your first time ? I'm sure it was fun.

Me: What about you ? It seems you're on your way for a holiday.

This is how it got started and I wished to continue scripting it for you but it would take up plenty of your time and I'm going to compact it to be easier for you to digest. Basically, I found out that she was from Paris. A practising lawyer who is now caught between the corporate world and working on her business which was an almost-established private practice.

She had the miraculous chance to go back to Australia for about 2 weeks to attend her brothers wedding in Perth. Here's the thing, she doesn't even know the bride or met her before. That's how we got started talking and I was able to get get core value about having not enough time to spend with her personal life.

OK, you don't have to keep guessing. She's a successful person by profession. Normally, I'd wanted to say that having 2 firms of her own in both Paris and in Marseille would make her already wealthy and also having a few properties which are generating cashflow is nice. She just hit one major dead end. No matter what, she didn't have enough time or manpower to run her businesses, travel time or even at corporate work.

In fact, being caught between "closing down" her passion at business and going back to the corporate world almost destroyed her internally.

I continued to talk to her very personally sharing some entreprenurial insights about why we are entrepreneurs before we are business minded people because thats what motivates us. The very same burning passion about what we do is why we decided to get into starting a business is very simply... it is always an achievement.

You probably want me to get to the point? Alright here you go.

I told her that if she continued that way she would not have enough time for her business even if it had many clients, that she might have to end up working weekends late (which was already happening). Also, if she lost her job probably she'd have no way of having a steady income stream to survive.

Then, I told her about how I run my online business. It runs 24 hours, 7 days a week regardless of whether I'm awake or asleep an it is 'automated' after I have established my basic 'infrastructure'. It also will generate a recurring income and probably more if I decide to work more on it.

Here's the punch line!

I'm in profit (recovered every single cent I spent) after only 7 months!

She was so amazed and just said that "Wow! That's exactly what I want! A business that runs even without my full involvement. So, I will have both income and time on my hands. I admire what you're doing because this requires great technical mastery!"

I just smiled, and had wanted to explain it isn't that hard... but ... I kept smiling and said,

"Thanks"

She went to sleep after a short meal.

The point is, it just takes more than 1 hour of conversation to explain how I did it.
